10 Stock market predictions for 2010
- 2010 Will be a pretty good year for the stock market, but it won’t be anything spectacular. I see the stock market returning anywhere between 10 and 20 percent on the year.
- Inflation will be slow to come as will improvement in the unemployment rate.
- #2 will cause Gold’s bubble to “Pop”. Gold should dip down below 1,000 an ounce by the end of 2010.
- Crude oil rises to around 100 dollars a barrel by the end of 2010.
- The stock market volatility index stays relatively low in 2010. There won’t be too many +300 point and -300 point days for the Dow in 2010. Investors everywhere will rejoice at being let off of the stock market roller coaster.
- Natural gas prices rise noticeably. Much more then the price of Crude oil will.
- Small cap stocks and value companies will outperform the rest of the field as a whole.
- Bank failures will be down and may come to a halt by Q3 of 2010.
