England stock market

England stocks are sold on the London stock exchange, very similar to the New York Stock exchange. The major England stock market index is the FTSE.

England is still very important to America. Obviously they were more important to us 250+ years ago when they virtually owned the United States, but we still rely on England and many other countries around the globe financially.

The economy changes each year. Over the past 30 years or so there has been a movement more towards a global economy.

This is because we rely on Europe and Asia for so much. Asia owns a lot of America’s debt and they export a lot to America. Imagine is Asia refused to do any business with America until we repayed all of the money that we owe them. America would meltdown for sure and the effects of this theoretical situation would be widespread.

Europe is not as the superpower it once was but what goes on is still very important to our interests.
