Stock market books

Believe it or not you can learn anything you ever needed to know about the stock market on the internet. There are thousands of quality websites on the internet devoted to the stock market, including this one, but sometimes advice given to you from a book can have an extra special meaning.

Also you will be reading a book from someone who you know has experience in the field and is someone you can trust. I have read dozens of books on the stock market, here is my take:
Stay away from all books written by Cramer. He has his show “Mad Money” where he commentates on the stock market on CNBC. He is interesting, but he does not give you enough bang for your buck in my opinion. You want to actually learn the ins and outs of the stock market here.

I recommend anything written by Warren Buffett or anything written about him. He is truly a revolutionary investor. He started as a middle class kid and grew up to be independently wealthy, to the tune of 50 Billion dollars!

I have read and enjoyed  all books written by the guys at the motley fool. They are great for beginner and intermediate investors.

Do not buy any books touting a specific “system” for succeeding in the stock market. Plain and simple: It will be total BS.

Finally I recommend reading the richest man in Babylon. It is not 100% about the stock market but it is very insightful.
